I identify the moral limits of his economic thought and suggest alternatives through a comparative analysis of it and the ideas of mutual prosperity. According to the Unification Thought, society is structurally similar to humans. Since the society of interdependence, mutual prosperity and universally values is a society centered on God and completed the purpose of creation by humans who have completed the character, it has a structure of religion(spirit mind)-politics(original mind)-economy(physical mind). Initially, Adam Smith's envisioned economic system is a laissez-faire capitalism that is autonomously operated by individual conscience, so it can be expressed as a structure of religion(spirit mind)-politics(conscience)-economy(physical mind). On the other hand, contemporary capitalism, which failed to control the previous mercantilist economic system and selfishness, can be said to be a structure of religion(spirit mind)-politics(evil mind)-economy(physical mind). In order for contemporary capitalism to move toward a moral economic system, it is necessary to correct human contradictory minds and innovate the twisted social structure. The alternatives based on the idea of interdependence are first, strengthening character education that can convert conscience into the original mind, second, implementing practical programs that can spread the culture of universal values, third, preparing a social system that can correct economic inequality, and fourth, establishing international relations based on the Heart.
